A genuine server process replacement preserves the paused checkpoint and approval grant. Explicit restoration sends no model request. Explicit approval commits one application plan revision and receipt. This protects the illustrated database write; it does not guarantee exactly-once external effects. The local identity is a signed anonymous cookie, not account login.
